A captive, two-part indexing jig for cutting 15 degree pie wedges in round tube, with engraved CLR lines so one jig cuts pies for any bend radius from 0.75D to 2.25D. Clamp it on, cut, rotate, cut again. No fixed stop to swap, no tape measure.

You can buy a printed jig, or you can own the file. A printed jig is one size, one radius. This is the file: print as many as you need on the machine already in your shop.

What you download

  • STL, 3MF and STEP for the size you choose, or the Full CLR Pack with all 15 sizes in all three formats, plus a README and notes
  • Full CLR Pack: Includes the plain 15° 6.00 in jig with the fixed 1.5D stop (PIE15 1.5D 6.00 OD), as promised. It arrives as a second download link in the same email.
  • Two solids per file, one per clamp half, in print pose
  • 15 degrees per cut (7.5 degree cut face)
  • Delivery: a secure download link emailed from goertz1.pro after payment, usually within minutes. Nothing is shipped.

How the CLR lines work

The fixed stop block is replaced by a flat shelf with engraved lines. Each line is the stop plane of the original jig, at 15 degrees to the cut face, moved along the bore to its CLR, and every line reaches the bore edge where the tube sits, on both halves of the shelf. Long lines with labels at 1.0D, 1.5D and 2.0D. The in-between lines at 0.75D, 1.25D, 1.75D and 2.25D are half length and carry no labels. Slide the tube until the end of its angled face is on the line for the bend radius you want, cut, rotate the tube 180 degrees, and repeat. The 1.0D line sits where the original fixed stop did.

3 and 9 o'clock marks

Two indent marks on the cut face at 3 and 9 o'clock. Pen-mark the tube at 3 and 9, rotate 180 degrees after each cut and line the marks up with the indents for fast, repeatable re-indexing.

Original branding

The G1PRO logo relief is on every jig, the same relief as on the original ECONO jigs.

Print settings

Official G1Pro settings: Inland PETG-CF, 2.5 mm walls, 2.5 mm top and bottom, 20% cubic infill, support-free. Print each half flat as modelled. Print one size first and check it on your tube before you commit a whole spool.

Honest note

Every size was checked by cut simulation on the shipped files (24 pies close a 360 degree ring), and every file is a valid closed solid. That is a geometry check and not a substitute for a trial cut on your own tube and saw, so print one size first.

Licence: Shop Use

Buy it once and print as many copies as you like for use in your own shop, including on paying customer jobs. You may not share or resell the file itself, or print copies of the jig to sell. Need a print-and-sell licence? Get in touch.
